SOPHIE & BEN'S WEDDING
THE WEDDING
Welcome to our wedding website.
We can't wait to celebrate with you all in Bath!
VENUE
The wedding will take place at one of central Bath's historic venues
Bath Assembly Rooms,
Bennett Street,
Bath,
Somerset,
BA1 2QH
THE WEDDING
The ceremony timings
Chuppah ceremony will commence at 4.30pm
The ceremony will be followed by a drinks reception, dinner and most importantly dancing!
The festivities will end at 1:00am.
HOW TO GET TO BATH
Bath is located 100 miles west of London and 170 miles south of Manchester.
The wedding is located in central Bath and there are a variety of transport options to get there.
BY CAR
The most straightforward route is via the M5 (from the North) or the M4 (from the West / London).
Parking is limited in Bath so make sure you check out the options with your chosen accommodation. There is no parking at the venue itself, you may be able to find a space on a road nearby or the nearest carpark is Charlotte Street Car Park (Charlotte St, Bath BA1 2NE) (a 7 minute walk away from the venue).
BY TRAIN
Trains run regularly from London Paddington to Bath Spa (every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends) and take approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
For those that have to work on the Monday morning (I'm looking at you teachers), there are trains that will get you back into London by 8am. The station is located in the city centre.
BY PLANE
Heathrow Airport is 100 miles east of Bath on the M4 motorway.
A regular National Express coach service runs direct from the airport to Bath.
WHERE TO STAY
Bath is blessed with a huge number of wonderful places to stay catering for all budgets.
Given the wedding venue is in the centre of the city, we would recommend staying in the city to minimise transport times on the day of the wedding. But we understand that some people will want to stay in a country retreat just outside Bath!
Parking can be an issue within the city itself so please check with your selected hotel before booking if you intend to drive to Bath.
Below is a number of hotels vetted by us. There are also plenty of AirBnb options.
TREAT YOURSELF
Royal Crescent (Sophie staying here)
The Queensberry (Ben staying here)
The Pig (just outside Bath)
Lucknam Park (just outside Bath)
BOUTIQUE
No. 15 Great Pultney Street (please ask us for the preferential rate code)
The Bird (please quote our names for a special wedding rate) (the Bird has its own car park!)

Gift List
The best gift you can give us is sharing our wedding day with us (and throwing some serious shapes on the dance floor, of course)!
But if you would like to give us a gift and are seeking inspiration, we have a list at John Lewis (ID 764718) or alternatively we would love a contribution to our honeymoon to South Africa and Mauritius https://prezola.com/wishlists/10204463/.
